AGO signs three new hotels on 25-year FRI leases - PropertyWeek

AGO Hotels, the hotel group operating on a hybrid-lease model, has acquired three new properties, boosting its offer to 1,000 rooms across 14 locations in England, Wales and Scotland. 

AGO Hotels, the hotel group operating on a hybrid-lease model, has acquired three new properties, boosting its offer to 1,000 rooms across 14 locations in England, Wales and Scotland. 

It bought the four-star Grange Bracknell Hotel, which is in The Lexicon shopping centre and boasts 80 bedrooms and a further 40 aparthotel rooms, as well as a lounge and dining area, a bar, a restaurant and outdoor terraces. 

The hotel also has conference suites and meeting rooms and a conference capacity of up to 600 people. 

The Orchard Hotel Gloucester, which has 60 en-suite rooms and private parking with access to the M5, will also join AGO’s portfolio, along with the former Travelodge Thurrock M25, a 47-bedroom hotel with free parking.
